Shamara Marie Martin-Tunstall is the proud founder and heart behind Marie’s Gentle
Touch Homecare & Companion Services. Born and raised in Baldwin County, Alabama,
Shamara has always had a deep-rooted passion for caring for others and serving her
community with compassion and integrity.
The company was founded in 2023 in loving remembrance of her late grandmother,
Shirley Marie Brown, who dedicated over 20 years of her life as a nurse. Her
grandmother’s legacy of kindness, strength, and commitment to helping others
continues to inspire the foundation and mission of the business today.
Shamara brings both experience and professionalism to her work. She is a licensed
Phlebotomy Technician, a Pharmacy Technician, and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
She is also CPR certified, ensuring she is well-equipped to provide safe and dependable
care to her clients.
Committed to continued growth and excellence, Shamara is currently enrolled at
Coastal Alabama Community College, where she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in
Medical Office Administration. Her education, combined with her hands-on experience,
allows her to deliver knowledgeable, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Through Marie’s Gentle Touch Homecare & Companion Services, Shamara is dedicated to
making a meaningful difference in the lives of families by providing care that is not only
professional—but personal.
